Project modification

Field name	Description
Wording	This is the project label that will be used throughout the platform.
Code	Codes are generally entered in uppercase and with underscores _. It's important to enter them, as they can be useful in the event of an error or import.
Long label	Enter a label longer than the Wording
Description	Enter additional information in this field to describe your project. This is what will appear in the tooltip.
Start date	This is the project start date. This date will have an impact on the theme Planning This date can be modified by dragging and dropping the schedule to a new duration.
End date	This is the end date of the project. This date will have an impact on the theme Planning This date can be modified by dragging and dropping the schedule to a new duration.
Project duration (days)	This duration is automatically calculated according to the start and end dates indicated.
Status	Il s'agit du statut du projet (voir les attributs de projet)
project manager	This field is used to define which user will be the project leader (associated rights).
Planification progressive	Cette case à cocher permet de définir quel mode de planification des ressources est activé. Par défaut, la case est cochée et donc le mode planification progressive est actif. Si la case est décochée, alors le mode de planification manuelle est activé.
Project logo	It's important to add a logo to the project, as it will be easily identifiable in the project list, especially if it's displayed as a thumbnail.

Team tab

Users can be assigned to a role project.

template current project	Allows you to view the wording of the template project already applied 🚩 This field only appears if a template has already been applied to the project, or if the project has been created directly via a template

Project links tab

This tab lets you select and view related projects.

A project link simply provides easier access to the project, via links in blocks or views. It allows you to navigate from one project to another, for example: predecessor-successor.

💡Project links can be found in the block Informations des projets as well as in the view Project header. The report Project review displays project links (single links and parent-child dependent projects)

🚨 These are not parent/child projects. The father and child projects of the selected project are available in theDependent projects tab. However, a child project can also be added as a project link.

Display of the project link list is managed via the view List of projects

Dependent projects tab

This tab lets you select and view projects linked to the project: the parent project of the modified project (a project can have only one parent project) and its child projects. The child project of the parent project will therefore be at a lower level in the project hierarchical structure (block Related elements (hierarchical structure))

💡 If a report is launched from the parent project, then data from the child project can also be displayed (sum of resource data, schedule comparison, etc.).

💡The wording of the parent project of the selected project can be found in the block Informations des projets as well as in the view Project header.

💡The report Project review displays project links (single links and parent-child dependent projects)

The display of the project's list of children is managed via the view List of projects

Create a children's project	This button is used to create a new project. It redirects you to form . project creation. Father project

This field is used to select another project on the platform, which will be considered as the parent project. Project data can then be combined in reports or exports, for example. 💡 If a report is launched from the parent project, then the data from the child project can also be displayed. Automation tab

In this tab, you can define an automation. Automations It's a process that determines the validation stages.

For example, I can add an automated request validation function or a milestone validation function if the associated tasks have all been completed.

It is possible to see the type of automation triggered on the project : phase milestone or task.
