Project links tab

This tab lets you select and view related projects.

A project link simply provides easier access to the project, via links in blocks or views. It allows you to navigate from one project to another, for example: predecessor-successor.

đź’ˇ

Project links can be found in the Project information and in the view Project headerProject header. The report Project reviewProject review displays project links (single links and parent-child dependent projects)

🚨

These are not parent/child projects. The father and child projects of the selected project are available in Settings - Dependent projects tabSettings - Dependent projects tab. However, a child project can also be added as a project link.

The list of project links is displayed via the view List of projectsList of projects

The child project of the parent project will therefore be at a lower level in the project hierarchical structure (block Related elements (hierarchical structure)Related elements (hierarchical structure))

đź’ˇ
  • If a report is launched from the parent project, then data from the child project can also be displayed (sum of resource data, comparison of schedules, etc.).
  • The wording of the parent project of the selected project can be found in the block Project information and in the view Project headerProject header.
  • The report Project reviewProject review allows you to display project links (simple links and parent-child dependent projects).

The display of the project's list of child projects is managed via the view List of projectsList of projects.

Correct measurement integrityperiod activeperiod )

This action recalculates measures (budgets, indicators, etc.) to correct any inconsistencies detected during an integrity check.

  • No automatic recalculation has yet been made for past cost changes.
  • In this case, it is necessary to manually recalculate the measures calculated at project level (at project level or global level if several assignments are made to projects).
  • If this modification is made for the current month or for future months, the new value will be automatically taken into account.
    • In this case, processing takes place within 5 minutes of the resource cost change.
    • This may take a few minutes, depending on the number of resource assignments.
    • It may therefore be necessary to wait ten minutes or so before seeing the updated budget values.
    • If this update is incomplete or does not take place, it is possible to manually recalculate or correct the integrity of the measurements (from the project or globally from the administration menu).
