Multilingual principles

The platform is fully multilingual (French, English, but also 70 other languages and variants).

Setting a default language
Activate at least one language
"French" set automatically

Available: French labels (soon: English en-gb, German de-de, Italian it-it and Spanish es-es)
All fields created in your settings can be translated.
Each user can choose his or her language
Translate your objects in a new multilingual section at the bottom of each creation/modification screen.

Access to user account settings: language settings
All application labels are translated into English
Each object is displayed in the user's language
Translation to default platform language

How do you implement multilingualism?

It is necessary to :

Set application languages

English & French with default language
French - French as default language
English - English as default language

Check translations of :

Attributes
Lists
List values

Check the translations in the templates, in particular to make the translation in projects

Label project, phase, milestone, task, exchange...

Platform settings

How to get there : Administration > Advanced settings > Platform configuration > Language management

This screen allows you to :

Create a new language
Import labels
Making a language active or not
Default language

Check attribute translations

How to get there : Administration > Field settings > Attributes > Project or other theme

Check the label in the active language (currently set on your user) and the labels in the insert Multilingual.

Check list translations

How to get there : Administration > Field settings > Lists

Check the label in the active language (currently set on your user) and the labels in the insert Multilingual.

Check list value translations

How to get there : Administration > Field settings > Lists

Check the label in the active language (currently set on your user) and the labels in the insert Multilingual of each list value.

Check templates

How to get there : Administration > Model settings > Templates > Project or other theme

Check the label in the active language (currently set on your user) and the labels in the insert Multilingual for the project, but also the planning objects.

User settings

Two situations:

If only one language is set on the platform, no settings are required.
If several languages are set, it will be necessary to set the user's language.

Please note that some attributes are automatically translated:

Only the attributes, lists and list values specific to your settings need to be translated by you.

Good to know

If your platform is not multilingual, deactivate the language that will not be used.

Items that are not translated will remain displayed in the language in which they were saved.
