What is the difference between a phase a milestone

In the new schedule, you can add phases on the fly, without multiple steps.
Create a phase
- Click on Add in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Create a milestone
- Click the arrow to the right of Add.
- Click on Add a milestone.

Insert a phase or below an phase
You no longer have to add your phases at the end of the schedule. You can now insert a new phase above or below an phase .
- Right-click on the phase .
- Click on Add.
- Select the option Phase or Phase.
Visit contextual menu is displayed.
The new phase created and appears immediately in the schedule.

Create a phase a template
To create a project from a template, the new schedule works just as before: you'll find your phases and milestones already added.
The feature to insert a template an existing schedule is not available in this version. It will return in version 7.9 of Project Monitor.
If you need to insert a template an existing schedule, go back to the old schedule from the project settings.
Create a phase another phase
- Right-click the phase copy.
- Click on Copy or do
Ctrl + C. - Click on Paste in the WBS section WBS the left side of the screen, or click
Ctrl + V.
The phase created with the same information; the name is identical to - 2.

Convert a phase milestone
A phase be converted into a milestone having to delete the phase recreate the milestone.
To convert a phase milestone
- Right-click on the phase .
- Click on Convert to milestone.
It is also possible to set the end date to match the start date: if the phase lasts phase one day, it is automatically converted into milestone.

Why can't I convert a phase milestone
Good to know
The new schedule automatically saves your changes. As soon as you create a phase a milestone, it is saved immediately. There is no "Save" button or "action in this version.
