A new version of the schedule is available in version 7.8 of Project Monitor !
Your feedback has highlighted some clear needs: greater flexibility, improved readability, better performance, and more reliable management of phases and milestones.
The new version of the schedule was designed to meet these expectations. This is an initial version, which will be enhanced parameter additional features, such as the ability to view resources or tasks.
The current schedule will be completely replaced in the next version of Project Monitor.
What this new schedule offers you:

New features and improvements
In addition to everything you could already do in the old schedule, you can now:
Create a schedule in seconds Add phases on the fly, above or below another, without multiple steps.
Take advantage of automatic saving No need to save manually. Every change is saved in real time.
Improved Performance The time it takes to create and edit your phases and milestones is significantly reduced, leaving you more time to manage other aspects of your projects.
Select and edit in bulk Move, delete, or indent multiple phases at once, without having to process them one by one.
Use the contextual menu Quickly access common actions, just like in office applications.
Modernized interface Navigate a redesigned screen that’s easier to read, more efficient, and more enjoyable to use every day
Keyboard Navigation Navigate, edit, and indent without touching the mouse. Double-click to edit a value.
View non-working days Weekends are displayed on the Gantt chart, and you can adjust your phases accordingly.
Phase Managers Photos or initials of the phase managers are displayed directly in the gantt chart you can see who is responsible for what at a glance.
Upcoming features
Some features from the old schedule are not yet available in this new version. They will be included in version 7.9 of Project Monitor.
Export the schedule Support for this feature is currently in development and will be available in the next version, with support for .csv, .xlsx, .png, and .pdf formats.
In the meantime, you can print your schedule directly from your browser by selecting "Save as PDF" instead of a printer. You may want to switch to full-screen mode first for a better view.
Undo or redo an action
These features will be added soon and will be available in version 7.9 of Project Monitor.
Inserting a template an existing schedule The ability to insert phases or milestones from a template, as well as the ability to insert a template , will be available soon. However, the ability to create a new project from a template is already available.
View colors by type, health status Coloring the Gantt bars based on the status health phases is not yet available.
Managemilestone attributesmilestone In this first iteration, you cannot add or editmilestone attributes on the Planning screen. However, you can edit them from the cross-project phase list.
Postpone the entire schedule The overall postponement of all phases at once will be incorporated into the next version.
Duplicate a phase a milestone
The ability to duplicate an existing item with a single click is not yet available. In the meantime, you can use copy and paste (mouse or keyboard shortcuts) Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V), as well as multiple copies.
What has changed compared to the old schedule

Enable the new schedule
In version 7.8, all new projects created use the new default schedule.
Projects created before version 7.8 will continue to use the old schedule in this version. They will be able to use the new schedule starting with the next version.
Disable the new schedule
For each new project you create, you can disable the new schedule to revert to the old mode.
You can also disable the new mode for all your new projects by adjusting a setting in the platform configuration.
Once your schedule has revenue the previous mode, you will no longer be able to re-enable the new schedule for this project. If you wish to use the new schedule again in the future, simply create a new project.
