Find out if a resource is available or has remaining work

Find out if a resource is available or has remaining work

Resource scheduling is based on two key elements: the remaining work and the occupancy rate.

The occupancy rate is represented by a color code, while font styles indicate scheduling over a period (day, week, month). 👇

‣

How are colors updated in scheduling boxes?

When scheduling remaining work work, the assignments concerned all have detailed remaining work (day/week/month).

When hovering over the cells, the occupancy level of the resource is indicated for the day, week or month on the capacity plan , as well as for the completed cell.

For details of other assignments of the resource on other projects: click on the occupancy bar or the resource.

Tips :
  • Double-click on a cell to force a manual value equal to the smoothed value.
  • Click on Reset remaining work global to return the remaining work of a resource to 0.
  • The data in the cell appears in white if the remaining work is equal to or less than availability.
  • The data in the cell appears in black if the remaining work is equal to or greater than availability.
