There are several ways to create a project, and depending on your rights, your organization and the context, you can use different modes.
The project template is a project model that allows you to retrieve certain information and configuration, making creation easier and saving time.
It's also possible to start from the configuration of an existing project, or even to create an "empty" project, i.e. without a template.

The rightÂ
Creating a project using a template upgrades to Contributor license level: allows you to create a project from a template as an Applicant.
- Click on
Main menu >
Projects >
Projects.
- Click onÂ
Add.
- Select creation modeÂ
From a template
. - Choose the template from which you want to create your project.
- Click on Next.
- Please fill in at least the items marked with a red asterisk* (mandatory); other items are optional.
- Click on Create and save to validate the creation.

.The project creation form appears, with all the necessary properties and characteristics.
You can cancel creation at any time by clicking on the Cancel creation.
If any properties or attributes are missing, the button validating project creation will remain grayed out.
In a project template , a multi-selection field
Creator as project manager proposes the project roles set up on the platform. The creator will appear in the project setup team with the selected roles.
Your project is created with the information entered in the creation form and inherits the characteristics, properties, themes, display and aperiodic data of the chosen template .
Creating a project from scratch
You can cancel the creation process at any time by clicking on the  Cancel creation.

- Fill in the fields; those that are mandatory are marked with a red asterisk.

If any properties or attributes are missing, the button validating project creation will remain grayed out. Once you've filled in the mandatory characteristics, the button at the bottom of your screen turns pink.
Your project is created with the information entered in the creation form and inherits the characteristics and properties entered.
No theme is activated. No data is present in the project.
The project contains only the following elements:

It is possible to create a project from an existing one, using the same structure, themes and data.

. - Search for the project from which a project will be created.
- Click on Next.
- Please complete all information, especially if mandatory (red asterisk*).
- Click on Create and save.
The projects displayed in the list are those with a status of "In progress".
Your project is created with the information entered in the creation form , and inherits the characteristics, properties, themes, display and aperiodic data of the initial project.
If any properties or attributes are missing, the button validating project creation remains grayed out.
Once the mandatory characteristics have been entered, the button at the bottom of your screen turns pink.
You can cancel creation at any time by clicking on the  Cancel creation.
