Connection screen

This screen is used to connect to a platform Project MonitorProject Monitor and which is found at every disconnection DisconnectDisconnect.

It is possible to set what happens after the browser is closed, if the user has not logged out: systematic logout, or for a set number of days.

Here are the fields found in this screen:

User nameUser name

This is the login—the unique username each person uses to log in to the app.

The password is unique to each user and can be changed on the No access Users - Modifying a userUsers - Modifying a user

Staying connectedStaying connected

🚩 If this box is checked, the logged-in user will not have to re-enter their password when opening new windows, unless they log out.

  • This checkbox appears only if the field After closing the browserAfter closing the browser in the No access is equal to Let users choose whether to stay logged in.
  • This checkbox does not appear if the value Keep all users logged in until they log out has been selected, but it will be automatically checked and hidden.

Non-exhaustive list of error/information messages

Your username or password is incorrect.

You have entered the wrong password too many times. Your account will be locked for X minutes. ➡️ This happens when too many login attempts are made with an incorrect password. The number of login attempts and the duration of the lockout can be configured.

Your account is still locked for X minutes ➡️ When a user account has been locked due to too many failed login attempts with an incorrect password and a new attempt is made.

Your password needs to be changed. Please click on the "Change/Reset Password" link ➡️ If a setting has been enabled to deactivate your password after X months, you must change or reset your password in order to log in again

Please enter your username to change your password.

Login as guest

This button appears if a guest userrole viewer) has been created on the platform.

No user or password is required. This button allows you to log in without a login, and view data only. This option can be configured for a user on the platform, see :

SSO login

If the platform includes SSO settings, this button will appear. If the user logs out from the logout menu or by time-out, it will be possible for him/her to identify him/herself using a login and password other than the application's own.

Forgot your password?

If the user's password has been forgotten, it is possible to click on this button to send an e-mail. This e-mail will enable you to change your password and log on to the application again.
