forecast total, like remaining work, is one of the representations that make up scheduling resources.

This is a "general" scheduling , automatically calculated on a monthly basis. It is saved by initializing period each month.

The forecast total works with a forecast rate (q).

q = (sum of distributed forecasts for the projects/phases to which the resource is allocated) / (sum of distributed forecasts for the projects/phases to which the resource is allocated) capacity

The forecast total distributed is a representation for resources, which enables resource allocation to be managed. It's a "general" scheduling at the monthly level.

Unlike remaining work, this representation is not decremented over time.

The forecast total cumulative remaining is a representation for resources, which is used to control resource allocation. It corresponds to forecast total for the last month after the initialization of period. This month must be included in the period displayed on plan .

forecast total cumulative (M) = ∑(distributed forecasts M, M+1, M+2, M+3...)

The notion of forecast rate is displayed via a color code and the notion of representation is displayed according to a font style on the cells for a period (day, week, month). 👇

forecast total is entered at the month level.

On hovering over the cells, the forecast resource rate for the month is shown on plan capacitaire, as well as completed, capacity and remaining work ressource réparti.

Modifier la structure de mesure ressource concernée

1. Cliquer sur le menu principal, puis sur l’écran Administration.
2. Dans la section Paramétrages des mesures > Paramétrages des ressourcesclick on the map Structures de mesure.
3. Go to the relevant parameter structure.
4. Ajouter les représentations forecast total and forecast total cumulative remaining.
5. Save.

Sur le plan capacitaire

1. Accéder au plan capacitaire (Menu principal > Resource management > Plan capacity)
2. Sélectionner le type d'affichage Prévisionnel ressources.
3. Enter forecast total for the desired projects and resources, and compare it with remaining work .
