This functionality is ensured when:

  • Project MonitorProject Monitor is version 7.7 or higher.
  • Strat MonitorStrat Monitor is version 2.12 or higher.

Connect Project Monitor Strat Monitor

User association

If you want to have access to the shares Strat MonitorStrat Monitor, you must link an account Strat MonitorStrat Monitor and an account Project MonitorProject Monitor.

Prerequisites

  • Each application must use an OAuth2-based SSO authentication system (e.g., OpenID Connect or an intermediary solution such as Keycloak). Applications may share the same authentication server, but this is not mandatory.
  • In order for the user to be recognized in each application, they must have the same ID. However, the login used to connect to the SSO portal may be different from the ID stored in the database, depending on the configuration of the platform or authentication server.

If you are not already logged in, you will need to enter your login ID and password. Otherwise, authentication will be transparent to you.

If you are using SSO: you will need to enter an initial username and password.

To do this, there are several options:

  1. Click on the Main menuMain menu.
  2. Click on My accountMy account.
  3. Click on My applicationsMy applications.
  4. Click on Connection to log in to Project MonitorProject Monitor.

Platform Association

  1. Click on AdministrationAdministration.
  2. In the Advanced settingsclick on Platform configuration.
  3. Click on Integration with Strat MonitorIntegration with Strat Monitor.
  4. Seize theURLURL of your platform Strat MonitorStrat Monitor.
  5. Enter the ID of an active user on your platform Strat MonitorStrat Monitor.

    6. The ID must be identical on both software programs, and both users must be active.

  6. Enter the PasswordPassword of the selected user.

Case Project MonitorProject Monitor Hosted On Premise

In the event that Project MonitorProject Monitor is not hosted on SaaS Virage GroupVirage Group but within your information system (IS), it is necessary to open a network flow between the SaaS Virage GroupVirage Group and the On Premise server.

Depending on your IT requirements, an IPSec tunnel can be set up.

Associate an action the project

Integration must be correctly configured in environments. Strat MonitorStrat Monitor and Project MonitorProject Monitor before to launch the association to an application for a user.

  1. Access a project.
  2. Click on the Related actionsRelated actions.
  3. Click on Associate an action.

    4. The list of actions of Strat MonitorStrat Monitor is displayed, showing only the projects to which you have access.

  4. Select the action(s) you want.
  5. Click on Confirm selection.

Delete an association between a project and an action

Delete an association

  1. Go to the relevant project.
  2. Click on the Related actionsRelated actions.
  3. Click on the contextual menucontextual menu.
  4. Click on Delete the association.

    A message will appear.

  5. Click on DeleteDelete.

action no longeraction in the list of associated actions, but it is still available on Strat MonitorStrat Monitor.

However, the project will no longer appear in the list of projects associated with this action.

Delete multiple associations

  1. Go to the relevant project.
  2. Click on the Related actionsRelated actions.
  3. Click on the contextual menucontextual menu.
  4. Select multiple actions by checking the box to the left of the line.
  5. Click on Delete the association.

    A message will appear.

  6. Click on DeleteDelete.
✅

The actions no longer appear in the list of associated actions, but they are still available on Strat MonitorStrat Monitor.

However, the projects will no longer appear in the list of associated projects for these actions.
