Create a task

task creation can be carried out in several ways, either on a project or multi-project basis:

  • From a task template or without a template
  • From a project template
  • Quick creation from a list
  • Quick creation from a Kanban board

From a task template or without a template

  1. Go to theme TasksTasks the project
  2. Click on Add.
  3. The list of templates appears.

    At this stage, if no list is displayed, you either don't have a template or you don't have access to one.
  4. Click on the desired template or on No template.
  5. The creation form is displayed with all the elements modelled by the template, or with only the default mandatory elements if no template is selected.

  6. Enter information required for creation: properties, members, attributes, etc.
  7. Add additional fields if required.
  8. RegisterRegister, Share or Apply modifications to current elements in the task form .

The task is created and you are redirected to the task list.

From a project template

It is possible to import tasks from a project template .

Prerequisite: project templates must be set up on your platform and include tasks.
  1. Go to theme TasksTasks of the project concerned.
  2. Click on the contextual menucontextual menu.
  3. Click on Insert tasks from a template.
  4. Click on the desired project template .
✅
All existing tasks in the project template will be created automatically.

Quick creation from a list

Quick list creation lets you make a list of tasks without going into detail.

  1. Access your project or platform task list.
  2. Click on Add.
  3. Select Quick addition.
  4. A new line appears in the task list.

  5. Fill in the fields.
  6. Click on RegisterRegister.

You can create as many tasks as you like in this way. The tasks then appear immediately in the list, but remain only partially filled in.

Quick creation from a Kanban board

  1. Access your project or platform task list.
  2. Click on the + at the top of the column.
  3. Fill in the available fields.
  4. Tasks added but not saved appear in italics.

  5. Click on RegisterRegister.
✅
Tasks are automatically added to the table in the column in which you added them.
