A category is used to parameterize a parameter (resource, budget, indicator or risk).
A category must be linked to a parameter structure. Structures are in global budgets, while categories are in each project. It is the category that manages the display: the thresholds for displaying parameter alerts in the project.

It's essential to set up the measurement structures and categories beforehand. It's difficult to change everything afterwards. The structure is set, as are the representations, which are consistent with what you want to put in place; you don't change the settings again.

Wordingthe Codethe parameter structure category, the Classthe Assignment level as well as the possibility of including this category in summaries and reports (synthesis category)

Allows you to delete a category. This button is available in the list to the right of an element in the

This button allows you to perform a quick search by label, displaying only those items that contain a particular keyword.
This button is used to sort :
- in ascending order on first click (down arrow)
- in descending order on second click (arrow up) A third click on this button removes the sorting.
Sorting is performed on the header of a list in the application: list of views, users, projects, etc.
Creating and modifying a category budget)
The creation and modification forms are similar.

Here are the fields found in this screen:
Code 
If multilingual configuration is enabled, an additional field must be filled in a section Multilingual.
This field corresponds to the object label in the other language.
Validates your changes. This may redirect you to the previous page on some screens.
Displays the list of changes made to this category by all users.
Stocks are sorted from the most recent to the oldest date.
This feature is useful for applying your modifications while continuing to change information on the same page. This button is available when you are modifying an element that has already been created.

Alerts need to be set according to what is visible on the projects.
Example: I say I have 500k and parameter I go along I enter actual expenses: in January I'll be at 250k, in March at 350k and in June at 520k. If I exceed 101% of expenses, I'll be in the yellow. If I exceed 110%, I'll be in the red. It is possible to add alerts with other colors.
Allows you to add a new alert.
Allows you to delete all alerts added to this category.
Allows you to delete a specific alert.
It is not possible to interleave alerts. You have to play with the colors of alerts already created.
