A structure is used to organize the platform by hierarchically grouping objects (projects, resources, etc.) or users. Hierarchies
Enables rights management and localization/partitioning of access to certain objects. This is known as a structure link.
Example: the geography structure contains continents on level 1, countries on level 2 and cities on level 3.
It is possible to associate a structure with a user group to restrict rights. By default, an object has unrestricted access, but if it is attached to a user group, only users belonging to this group can use the object.
Hierarchy list
This screen lists the hierarchies, with the following information: Wording,
Description,
Identifier.
No customizable view are available for this screen.
If an object is linked, then by default it is not visible to users who do not have the right to use the object specifically on its structure link perimeter. To make an attached object visible to users, they must have general or role role rights to the object's structure link perimeter.

Delete a structure
Allows you to delete a structure.
This button is available in the list to the right of an element in the contextual menuor by consulting a structure from the same menu.
A confirmation message is displayed.

Creating and modifying a structure
The screens for creating and modifying a structure are similar, except for the presence or absence of data.
This screen is divided into two tabs:
Hierarchies - Hierarchy card tab
Hierarchies - Structure tab
Rights required :

Modifying a structure
Possible actions on a structure from the
contextual menu :
This button is available in the contextual menu of a structure.
It exports structure details to a .csv file, which contains :
Code_HIERARCHY:Code structure
VN_Label:Wording structure value
Code_VN:Code structure value
Description_VN:Description structure value
The three columns for level values are repeated if a structure value exists for another level.
Each structure value is included in a line.
This button is available from the contextual menu of a structure. It provides an overview of all modifications made.
You can filter by period, user, type of modification or target certain fields.

General information
This tab allows you to enter several fields to describe your structure.
Here are the fields found in this screen:
Attachment settings
Select the object to which your structure can be attached.
Here are the fields found in this screen:
Adds a new element that can be attached to a level in this structure.
For example, if you want projects to be partitioned using this structure, click on Add an itemthen select Project in the drop-down list.
Delete structure link configuration
Eliminates the possibility of attaching a level in this structure to an object in the application.
For example, if you no longer wish projects to be partitioned by this structure, click on this button. A confirmation window appears, and on deletion, projects no longer carry the structure value, and it is no longer possible to attach them to this structure.
Attach to a structure
You can add structure as a structure, and then select a hierarchical value from another structure.
Structure tab
Levels
In this section, you can set different levels for your structure. These levels are for information only and will not be visible when you attach an object to this structure. It is the values of these levels that will be displayed.
Here are the fields to fill in for each level:
When a new level is created in the values, it is automatically created in the Levels.
It will be called Level + level number and for code LEVEL_Level number.
For example, a first level structure Geography can be World, a second level, a third level, a fourth level Region...
A first level value Continent can be Africa.
Values
This tab is used to build the structure by creating level values.
Click on Add a new element and enter a Wording to add a hierarchical level (e.g.
Europe).
Press the Input or on Add to structure to easily add a new element.
You can easily drag and drop elements, moving them before or after another element, or indenting or de-indenting them.
Adds a new value to your structure : new level or structure value. You can then give it a name.
This button unfolds all the levels and values of a structure, and displays the entire structure with a single click.
This button folds all the levels and values of a structure, displaying only the first hierarchical level with a single click.
Value details
You can modify a structure value in detail by clicking on the contextual menu then on
Edit.
Here are the fields to fill in for each value:
It is possible to attach a structure value to another structure value (of another structure).
If a structure has set structure value as Related object then it will be possible to choose a structure link for this structure value.
For example, I can attach a structure value Geography > Maine and Loire to my structure value Angers which is part of another structure, simply by clicking on the value name.
