Adjusting the portfolio into a valid scenario
Several actions can be carried out on the scenario to match the selected projects with the min/max budget and resource loads.
- A healthindicator displays the projects selected and the projects available to build a portfolio scenario. Projects added to or removed from the scenario have an impact on this health block.
- The load gauge for resources, with the minimum/maximum constraint defined in the scenario.
- The load gauge for budgets, with the minimum/maximum constraint defined in the scenario.
- A project counter is available to show the number of projects selected and the total number of projects available.
- You can check or uncheck projects to fine-tune your portfolio according to your constraints.
- A button allows you to select or deselect all projects at once.
- Some fields can be modified directly in the scenario, such as budget or resource data, or project dates. It is possible to unfold a project line and see the details in terms of budgets or resources: profiles and analytical axes used are displayed.
- The attributes added when creating the scenario can be found here. Strategic information such as profits and weather will help you build your ideal portfolio . Project attributes cannot be modified via this screen.
- Totals can be displayed if you have more than one budget or resource year. They cannot be modified directly.
- The filter allows you to find candidate projects in the list via a project label, a hierarchical structure link or a particular attribute .
By adding or removing a candidate project, the resource data and budgets of these projects have an impact on the overall portfolio gauge.
The gantt chart
The gantt chart gives you an at-a-glance overview of the timeframe of the projects in the scenario.

- The period represented graphically is based on the project's start and end dates. You can zoom in and out on the gantt chart of a portfolio scenario via a time scale (months, years) to better analyze it.
- A tooltip appears when you hover over a project. This tooltip provides the following information: project name, start date and end date.
The workload plan
The workload plan can be displayed on a portfolio scenario. It enables you to view the resource profiles and workloads of selected projects in greater detail. capacity and remaining work resources are displayed in this graph.
The total resource capacity displayed in the load plan can be filtered by clicking on the profiles in the load plan legend. This allows you to see the capacity of certain profiles only, such as a developer or a project manager contracting authority.
- It can be shown or hidden as required via this button. The height of the display can be easily adjusted.
- Expenses are displayed on a monthly basis. When a resource is assigned to several projects, its capacity is counted only once.
- You can choose whether or not to display certain resource profiles in the graph by clicking on the profile legend on the right.
- If scenario data is modified, the load plan is automatically updated with the new values.
