View drift and critical path

La drift

The drift is the difference between the target schedule and the estimated schedule (update of achievable dates).

To view this drift, click on the icon drift (1)

Schedule items will then be displayed in color for their estimated dates (2) and grayed out for their target dates (3).

đź’ˇ
If the schedule is initially displayed with target dates, drift will display the estimated dates in gray.

The critical path

The critical path is displayed by activating the critical path.

All elements involving a modification of the project end date in the case of scheduling respecting all constraints are highlighted in red shadow.

Here we can see that the Closing phase is at risk with regard to the project end date.

In fact, once replanned according to dependencies, the project end date will be pushed back.
