MS Project import is possible with several file extensions: .msp and .xml

Once the file has been imported, the user accesses the project creation form : file, forms, attachments, team...

Rights required :

The data transferred from the MSP project to the new project are :

project wording
start date
end date
phases and milestones: but milestones without a parent phase are out of order
data from Summary for phase and non-project assignments
in the master data tab, the default active themes are planning and resource. If you activate other themes, it's too late: data from these other themes are not included in the new project.

Button name	Description
Import	By clicking on this button, you can add a file that will allow you to add structural elements or information about the project.
Co-responsibility for resources	A list of resources available in MS Project is available for selection. It is also possible to select a resource available in Project Monitorand thus complete these links will enable you to save resource information for an MS Project project and transfer it to a resource available in Project Monitor. A project role can also be assigned. The information will be entered once the import has been finalized. It is then possible to view the list of links and delete them.
